- Climate Busan experiences a humid subtropical climate. In August, you can expect hot and humid weather, with average temperatures ranging from 23°C to 30°C (73°F to 86°F).
- Currency The official currency is the Korean Won (KRW). Major credit cards are widely accepted, and ATMs are available throughout the city.

Electric Outlets
South Korea uses Type C and Type F plugs with a standard voltage of 220V and a frequency of 60Hz. Visitors from countries with different plug types will need an adapter.

Wi-Fi & Connectivity
• Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi is widely available in BEXCO, most hotels, cafes, and public spaces. Consider renting a pocket Wi-Fi device or purchasing a SIM card at the airport for constant internet access.
• SIM Cards: Available for purchase at the airport or in mobile phone shops across the city. - Tipping Tipping is not a regular practice in Korea. Service charges are typically included in your bill for rooms, meals, and other services at hotels and upscale restaurants. Koreans may occasionally leave a tip when they are especially pleased with the service.
- Insurance Participants are strongly advised to take out adequate travel and health insurance before leaving their respective countries. The Organizing Committee does not have insurance coverage for participants and will not be responsible for any accident that may occur during the Congress.
